Key Findings

U.S. commercial gaming grows 8.22% to reach nearly $92.7 billion

Across the U.S. and Canada:

Casino and card room gaming accounted for almost 48% of total North American gaming revenue, lotteries for 24%, and tribal gaming for 22%.
The largest inflation-adjusted growth, an increase of 7.31%, was seen in tribal gaming.
Revenue from lotteries grew by 4.91% and casino and card room gaming by 5.56%.
Both charitable gaming and race/sports wagering experienced declines in 2006, but they were smaller than the 2005 rates.
